Little Stint still there this afternoon but hanging out on the far side of the
berm that cuts across the southeast corner of the first pond.

With much better lighting today, more details can be seen on the LITTLE STINT.
-rufous tertials and some wing coverts
-spotting on the sides of the neck/chest offset by a white throat
-longer primary projection past tertials and wing projection just past tail tip
-short, slightly curved bill with fine point
-slight hint of rufous wash on face and sides of neck
-black legs

Directions
Parking is here (Google maps 42.432314, -122.910003). Please do not block the
gate as big trucks need to use the driveway. Step over the barbed wire fence
and walk in to the first pond, water's edge. Bird frequents the nearest mud
(SE corner), the far side of the berm or the gravel island...all on the
nearest, shallowest pond. Birds have NOT been using the paved City ponds which
are right next door to the east. If you don't see the birds at the nearest
mud, walk left (west) along the gravel dike road to look at the berm & gravel
island while having the sun to your back (should be obvious).
