Certainly you are not a knucklehead. A knucklehead is someone who saw an interesting bird and failed to go tell others to check it out to be sure.

Or a knucklehead is someone who called a Bristle-thighed Curlew a Whimbrel, a McKay's Bunting a Snowy Bunting, and a Smith's Longspur a Lapland Longspur. Since I did all of those, I would know the definition of a knucklehead rather well.....
