Tom,

The location along Hwy 12 was east of Kooskia, ID, getting up into the
mountains, but still along the Clearwater River.

I looked back through my notebooks, but didn't easily find data on the
place.  What I remember were
Calliope, Black-chinned, Rufus, and possibly Broad-tailed.  I can't give you
proportions of each.

Paul, do you know what species they had there and what proportions of each?
I would guess plenty of Rufous, but curious about Black-chinned and
Broad-tailed.

Years ago there was a retired couple (now passed away) who had a place
called "Hummingbird Haven" near m.p. 80 on Hwy 12 east of Lewiston, ID, on
the way to Missoula.  They had feeders on their back porch, clothes line,
fence, and garage.  They went through large sacks of sugar each summer.  To
stand on their back porch was like standing in a beehive.
