For those wondering where the Camas Country Mill Store is located, I did a
little Googling. If this is the right place, it is outside of Junction City,
Lane County, Oregon on Purkerson Rd. (link below).

Subject: [obol] Horned Larks at Camas Country Mill store
Those who follow eBird reports may discover that I found a group if Horned
Larks at the Camas Country Mill store this afternoon. This is private property.
Visitors are welcome when the store is open, which is Tuesday through Saturday
from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is not a good idea to visit the location at
other times, unless you are attending a private event.
The owners plant specific areas of their property with plants that will provide
food for wildlife. I was near one of these locations on the NW side of the
yard, near the old church, when I found the larks.
This is often a nice birdy place. Another time when I was there I found a
Peregrine Falcon in a tree along the edge of the field. If we get enough rain,
a low part in the field will flood and will host a variety of ducks.
The store has a lot of grain-based goods, and includes a restaurant that serves
a limited menu of freshly prepared foods. It is worth taking a look while
you’re there. I’m a fan. I was there to make a purrchase and got lucky with
the birding, too.
