Yes given the super wide white edging to the patterning
and frosty appearance, along with the pale bill base in
1st-cycle Herring x Glaucous (Nelson's) makes the most
logical sense here. Although as usual with odd gulls this is
mostly just playing a semi-educated guessing game - trying
to make what are essentially probabilistic rather than firm ID's.

It's interesting that the bill base seems to be straw color
with no hint of pinkish. Not sure what that signifies if
anything. Would be fun to see close ups of this one.
