Back in 2004, I came across a Hermit Warbler in the conifers along Bruce
Road (near the 90 degree turn west of Finley NWR) on February 9. It was in
the company of 12 (!) Townsend's Warblers. To the best of my recollection,
that was my only winter sighting of the species in Oregon.

We live in the south hills of Eugene and every morning 8-10 Townsend's
Warblers and 15+ Yellow-rumped Warblers (both forms) are regular visitors
each morning They love the suet and especially the Bark Butter (WBU
product). This morning a flock of about 25 Yellow-rumps arrived to add to
the feeding frenzy. With them was a Hermit Warbler, a first for our yard
and the earliest I have seen one in this area. I finally managed to get a
photo and I can send one later when I hve time to download and process
them. Off to an appointment now so it will likely be later this afternoon.
