We have a Gray Catbird at our house this morning. No other unusual birds for
this time of year. Northern Flicker, BB Magpie, A. Kestrel, Ash-throated
Flycatcher, Swainson's Hawk, Bullock's Oriole among others all building
nests or nesting near the house. Black-chinned hummer at the feeder. Lots of
meadowlarks, Cassin's Finches, Brewer's Sparrows, Lark Sparrows Vesper
Sparrows around. Yellow, MacGilvrey's, Orange-crowned, moving through. Fell
asleep last night to the call of a Common Poorwill wafting in the bedroom
window.
