During our Mult Madness Birdathon Saturday, we wondered if any of us had ever
seen a Green Heron on Sauvie Island.
This morning, as I was driving up Reeder Road to Rentenaar Road to do a
grassland bird survey, a GREEN HERON flew over the road near Reeder Beach RV
Park. When I got home, I checked my records. The last time I had seen a Green
Heron on Sauvie Island was May 10, 1975. Yikes!
