Hi all,
Word through the grapevine this morning is that a GREAT GRAY OWL was
found dead on Reservoir Ave. on the west side of Corvallis, southeast of
Bald Hill Natural Area.
This is within 3 miles of the residential neighborhood near Fitton Green
Natural Area where a Great Gray Owl was found roosting on January 7th.
The area in between these locations includes Mulkey Ridge, Bald Hill
Farm, and Bald Hill Natural Area is a mix of oak woodland, conifer
forest, cattle pastures with scattered oaks, and low-density residential
neighborhoods.
