This morning Chuck Philo and I went to grass mountain in SE Lincoln Co to check
for migrants. Bird movements/migration starts in the coast range in late
July. We were not disappointed. We tallied 31 species in one location which
included 6 warbler species wherein were 2 Nashvilles. Icing on the cake was a
large boar black bear galloping across the road about halfway back to Burnt
Woods.
