Hi All,
Roy Gerig passed on a report from Mary Ritter (a new birder in the
mid-valley) who found and photographed a Yellow-throated Warbler at
Ankeny NWR yesterday.
I was not able to view the photo attachment but Roy has seen it and says
it's an amazing photo. Roy is guessing that this is a first for Oregon
in this season, and I would certainly tend to agree, since I can only
recall one early-fall record from Malheur NWR.
The location as described in Mary's note (see below) was the observation
deck along Ankeny Rd.
