Still there, has also been feeding around a couple of willows. Martha
and I just went back out and had some good looks.

Another good bird for the "heard while shooting hoops in the back yard"
list -- Palm Warbler is on that one too.

Hi all,

Just now while shooting some hoops in our backyard, I heard a funny
little buzzy "mew" call along our south fenceline. There was a BLUE-GRAY
GNATCATCHER, feeding around a Douglas/hybrid hawthorn that's blooming.

Would like to think it was drawn in by the Ceanothus bush which is also
blooming, but still awfully small.

Location is 1/4 mile south of Camp Adair Rd., west side of Hwy 99W. I
will be gone from 11:45 to 12:45.

Happy birding,
Joel
