My Red-necked Grebe at the Philomath Ponds has turned out to be an Eared
Grebe. So, 2 Eared Grebes,
0 Red-necked. Sorry for the mistaken id!

Hi all,
There was a Red-necked Grebe at the Philomath Ponds this evening in the
middle pond. It was diving frequently.
I also located 1 Eared Grebe and 2 Red-necked Phalaropes on the ne pond.
Some rather dark photos on my eBird list as it was sadly quite dark by the
time I left. Sad because the earlier sunset time limits my after work
birding. Love the fall, not the shorter days!!
