That's quite plausible. There were at least 7" of snow this morning when Adrian and I set out on our 13-mile run, and I suggested we might get snipe--a would-be new campus (OSU) bird. Sure enough, we saw at least three flying around, displaced by the unfamiliar fluffy white stuff. Also a lot of sparrows, killdeer, and meadowlarks more in the open that usual. Cheers, Chris Hinkle
