I've got some researchers coming to my place near Ashland tomorrow to
capture and take blood samples for a genome study of CATO - Genomic
assessment of population structure in towhees (Melozone sp.) - from their
most southern territory in Baja to the most northern in Ashland (not
counting Matt's fine record). I have a pair at my place and possibly more
if the young haven't dispersed yet.
