Obol,
Saw the South Jetty Rd. trifecta early this afternoon. There were at
least 2 female/imm. male types and 1 ad. male WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL with
50ish REDs near the paystation. We parked and followed a trail up the hill
north of the sign and found the crossbills up there. It is a much better
vantage point, as you are closer to eye level with the birds.
The NORTHERN SKRIKE was just north of lot #1 on the west side of the
road. The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was at lot #4 in the bush on the east side
of the road.
Happy 2018!
