The winds were howling at Waite Ranch this morning and the SEDGE WREN did
not oblige. We left after an hour and headed to Honeyman State Park
Cleawox Day Use Area and relocated the juvenile female YELLOW-BELLIED
SAPSUCKER. Note this is a fee site. We returned to Waite at 11 and
searched unsuccessfully for two hours.
There is another Wren tripped scheduled for Friday Feb 1. The forecast is
not looking great. If it does not improve we will reschedule the trip.
