Dave and I stopped in Fields on our way to Steens Mt for a few days. Burgers
and the pigeon were our best find. Some migrants but also a t-storm with
blustery winds didn’t help.
We were lucky with weather, less smoke, and no heat waves at the Common Crane
yesterday afternoon.
This morning it was definitely smokier by the time we left Goose Lake State
Park. Best bird we had there was a Black Phoebe.
There were lots of migrants there with a glut of Western Tanagers, etc.
