Yes, that was what I meant to say, didn't realize I mistyped 'til going
back over it now. I miss the Juncos. I saw them out front once, but I
usually see them out back with the other birds. I guess it's getting bad
when I not only misspeak, but miss-type!

Dear Obolers,
I hope you all have a glorious day. I seem to
be down to two Pine Siskins, and haven't seen any Red-Breasted Nuthatches
in a week. The last one I saw a week ago was a different one, it had a
paler breast.

Last week I saw a BROWN CREEPER on the tree
trunk out back, first one I've seen here, and only the second time I've
seen one. I've heard the Flickers a few times, nice to have them back
around. There's at least one Spotted Junco, and I saw it feed at the feeder
this morning (not the ground).

There's a few Song Sparrows, and a couple
FOX SPARROWS now. This is the kind of weather when I sometimes see White
Crowned Sparrows, so I'll keep an eye out. The Black-capped Chickadees are
back to three, from six, and I did see a CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEE once
last week. I saw just a few Bushtits yesterday. They did nest out front
this spring, so I'll be looking out for them

The House Finches sometimes join the
Siskins, and I won't saw anything about the many House Sparrows. A couple
begonias that had done okay so far melted from the frost, and someone here
decided to cut down my beloved Curly Willow. Not a welcome sight this
morning. The moon has been gorgeous the last couple nights, anyone who
missed it should make a point to look at it tonight. I got my own raptor
run, out in an area I like, so I'm looking forward to that.

Happy Thanksgiving All
Linda/Tigard
