After Matt Hunter and I scrutinized the photos of the YBLO it appears to be
a pale Common Loon. The bill appears to have a dark line on the culmen and
the lower mandible appears to be too straight for YBLO. I don't think I
have ever seen a common loon this pale, or with such a pale bill. So I
learned something new.
