for the past FOUR YEARS we've chased a Ross's Goose around Oregon and we ALWAYS
came up empty ... today was our second trip down to try for the Clackamas Ross
and WE FINALLY GOT HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... yea !!!
a big THANKS to OBOL/Portland Area Birds member Nicholas Ranta who spotted the
Goose this morning along Oregon Highway 224 and sent us an email as to his
location ... fortunately we were already parked at Meldrum Bar Park and a quick
Google Map search got us to Hwy 224 ... found a place to park and had beautiful
views. THANKS NICHOLAS !!!!!!!!!!!!! ...
