Not to try to upstage Paul's fine map, but the ECAS has a map under
Multnomah County that covers these areas. Of course you only have 8 more
days to use it this year before most of this area is shut down :). The
ECAS website should be the go-to-first resource for birding areas in OR.

I visited Sauvie Island on Wednesday to look for some of the notable
sightings reported on the Portland WhatsApp group.
I’m attaching a labeled map to indicate locations. Note the
unconventional orientation: EAST is at the top. I’ve labeled the NE, NW,
SW, and S portions of Sturgeon Lake, as well as The Wash (33) and The
Narrows (22)
I started at the Oak Island boat ramp (black arrow #4 ) to view the SW
portion of the lake while rain showers came through. I saw distant White
Pelicans and Great Egrets in the SW portion of the lake (Multnomah County).
I went to park at Willow Bar and walked in to the location marked J5 on
the map. On the ground there is no J5 marker, just a space between J4 and
J6. I met Bob Lockett and Ed McVicker. They had seen the jaeger and gulls.
We viewed the lake from J5 and saw 2 Bonaparte’s and 2 Sabine’s Gulls.

I walked on to J2 and saw 6 Snow geese in the SW portion of the lake among
3000 Cackling Geese.
I continued around to the parking lot at Big Eddy (6 on the map) and
walked over to The Wash. I saw many W Pelicans, Cranes, and 3300 Cackling
Geese. (Columbia County)
The new bird for my county lists appeared at the end of the day as I got
back to my car: a BLACK PHOEBE across from the fishing platform (Columbia
County)
