OBOL, Was on the beach in north Douglas county today. Shorebird and gull movement has been pretty decent the last several days. There has been a noticeable movement of RED-NECKED PHALAROPES. Saw 6 on the little pond south of Siltcoos on the way out and a singleton working the waves in Douglas. Also of note were 2 MARBLED GODWTIS and a RUDDY TURNSTONE (juv) south of the Oregon Dunes Overlook trail. On Monday I saw 3 PEREGRINES between Siltcoos and Tahkenitch, no doubt following the flocks.
