Fork-tailed Storm-Petrels were close to
shore until it became too dark to see.
I made a couple spot checks from Spanish Head
about 8 miles to the north this afternoon and did
not see any at all. Suggests the birds at Boiler Bay
are more of a large generally localized group
than a continuing near shore south movement.
