While sitting here enjoying the concave meniscus of my wine glass, I saw a
WHITE-WINGED DOVE report from Brookings complete with photo. It was seen in a
private yard down a private drive.
I contacted the owner and got this reply.
"The bird was briefly seen at 11:30 AM at my feeder in my backyard. The dove
did not return. If it does I will let you know."
It is still nice to hear reports of birds, even though we, ourselves, might not
be able to access them.
