The male Costa's was at the feeder from 6:20 to 6:30 this morning. I can't
believe he is back after the no-show after 7:30 yesterday morning. I thought
for sure he was long gone. I was almost as surprised to see him this morning as
I was to see Sally Hill and Vickie Buck standing outside watching the bird! I
had to leave for work, but Sally and Vickie stayed. Unfortunately, the bird did
not come back in the next 30 minutes. It must have another feeder staked out
somewhere in the neighborhood. There are several feeders that I know of within
sight of the street in the surrounding blocks.
