I ran to Chip Ross Park north of Corvallis this afternoon and spent an hour birding the area. There were plenty of migrants including lots of warblers and a calling Dusky Flycatcher. On my way down a Swainson's Hawk flew over. I didn't have binoculars or a camera with me, but I got very good and extended views as it circled low overhead before slowly flying northward. Cheers, Chris Hinkle
