About 10:30 am Saturday l saw a BaWWa on South Cedar Point Road along the
banks of the Coquille River. Given the great distance from most urban areas
l don't imagine many folks will be inclined to chase it, considering the
Beaver Creek bird's absurd accessibility. Here's one hook--it's a Coos
County hotspot that Tim Rodenkirk has never visited.
Please be advised that l made one eBird report for a half mile
stretch of road, although we moved our cars repeatedly. The GPS connected
to mobile eBird is only 3 decimals long, l've got a new phone that l
haven't installed a more precise app for gps. The spot where l saw the
warbler has a shattered alder on the river side of the road, a very large
myrtlewood has tipped over on the pasture side. I have visited this
outstanding riparian site every CBC for a while now. The variety of species
