The two N Spit Coos Bay birds are still around. They were feeding in the
bay wrack line, conveniently out of the wind and likely full of food for
them. This is about 3/4s of a mile east of the old Weyco pond site along
the south facing portion of the bay. Right where the accursed proposed LNG
site hopefully will never be located.
Also a pair of kestrels- unusual this close to ocean. About a dozen
meadowlarks too.
Nice sunny day with not as much wind as forecasted.
Happy Birding all!
