Folks
So to clarify, one of the reported RED-NAPED SAPSUCKERs - the one on
June Ave in Bandon, is an adult YELLOW BELLIED SAPSUCKER. The Oriole
was with it......

This AM walked out on N Spit of Coos Bay early and jumped a bittern in same location Harv Schubothe and Barb Taylor had one on the Coos Bay CBC.
The Willet was present along Coos Bay waterfront too.
Met Dave Lauten, Kathy Castelein, Russ Namitz, and the Shorts to see the YB SAPSUCKER and BULLOCK’S ORIOLE that Harv Schubothe’s group had found in Bandon on yesterdays CBC.
Dave, Kathy and I could not relocate the TROPICAL KINGBIRD found by Ron Steffans and Shaun Burns behind the Hdqs at Bandon Marsh yesterday- only the 2nd Jan record for Coos.
Several other goodies that Harv will report on later also.
Happy birding!
