Hi Wayne & All, Yes, I guess I overlooked the "generic" groups (Eagles and various Crows) , and also the classic(?!) band, "The Byrds." Not to mention bands named after other flying objects (Zeppelins, Airplanes, and Starships). But it's rare to see a band named after the full, proper English name of a bird species such as "Common Linnet." Are there any bands named "The Northwestern Crows" or "The White-tailed Eagles"? Or has any band with a similarly explicit bird species name risen to comparable prominence?
