Today at Broughton Beach (Portland) among the many COMMON GOLDENEYES were
several males performing their courtship display in which they bend their
neck backwards so their neck rests on their back and their bill points up
into the air. I only saw it among one group in which there were 5 males
and 1 female. Very fun to watch.
