May we add 2 different Long-billed Curlew observations. The first by call and
very low overflight, I was able to see head and bill, (wife was looking for
clams) and one by call only about 45 minutes later. This seems to be the best
shorebird spring here in quite a while. We too remarked on a large flock of
Dunlins on the way back to the car.
Also, 2 razor clam limits. (Wife's in 20 minutes.)
Unrelated observation by TPJCC student standing outside classroom listening to
an unseen Black-headed Grosbeak Wednesday morning: "That robin is on
something!"
