They don't need any seed, so please don't.

They are feeding primarily on the Dunegrass seed which is plentiful and
likely to last all winter.  They come down onto the beach only
occasionally and are presumably foraging the wrack-line, possibly for
arthropods.

It's also worth noting that they are more uncomfortable with cars (and
dogs) than they are people on foot.  Slowly approaching on foot has
been far more successful for me than trying "car as a blind" maneuver
which is more effective on shorebird and ducks.

Is anybody putting out seed for these buntings? Supposed to be cold and dry all week.
