Steve and I were the other birders out there, nice to chat and meet you! I
managed a couple shots of the Buff-breasted Sandpiper using my camera to
follow where it was headed when it flew, dropped for a second, then took
off to go South. Maybe it'll end up down at Sandpiper Village or maybe

Otherwise, the peeps, yellowlegs, surf mallards, and the 1 short-billed
dowitcher were actively feeding and not wary of the many people out there
today.
