I received a report from Kathleen Sayce that she and other Lower
Columbia Birds saw the Brownsmead GYRFALCON today hunting SNOW
GEESE along Rudat Rd. They saw it at a distance several times.
It briefly landed in a distant cottonwood tree then, eventually
flew toward them and overhead. So they got some pretty good, extended
views in flight at a close distance. No photos.
They also heard the NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH others saw it later in
the day.
