Saw about 250 BLACK-VENTED SHEARWATERS, all were headed south. Tim Rodenkirk
and Diane Cavaness were able to enjoy part of the show. Full eBird checklist
this afternoon.

Being greedy and headed north to Coos County.

Keep us posted, Russ. It looks like the weather service is predicting
strong winds out of the south and southeast through Sunday. It could be
epic. http://graphical.weather.gov/sectors/mfr.php#tabs

There are a few BLACK-VENTED SHEARWATERS with a couple dozen Sooty
Shearwaters off Chetco Pt in Brookings right now. Birds are at a distance
with very low wind.

More later,
