Hi all,
I don't see any reason why the eBird report of a Brambling at Malheur HQ
a couple days ago should be discounted, just because the observer died
in 1989.
And Russ, you shouldn't really be surprised if an e-mail address from
someone who died in 1989 bounces -- how many of us, dead or alive, are
still using the same e-mail addresses that we had back then?
Seems like a good report to me, excellent details on the right wing.
My only concern is that there's no mention of the rump state/color. Not
enough to rule out the possibility that this could yet turn out to be a
Yugoslavian Finch. Do we have any blue-helmet reviewers who could go in
there to verify?
