As close as this bird has been to so many people, has anyone been able to get
a clear look at its legs to see if it is banded?? I have seen two banded
wintering Burrowing Owls here in Linn County over the years and have been
able to document that one was banded in the TriCities area of SE Washington
and the other from the Kamloops area of British Columbia, both good distances
for these guys to fly :) Just curious,
