For context, we're there other gulls around? Were there concentrations of
gulls to far off to identify. In short, do you think the Black-headed Gull
could have still been around, but easily missed?
Fern Ridge is one of the few popular birding sites that I have not
purposely visited (I've driven past the south side on my way to Florence
many times). One of these days...
