Beautiful BLACK TERN being reported recently at Ridgefield NWR in Clark Co.,
Wash., still swooping, dipping over Rest Lake this a.m. (6/12/14), as seen from
observation blind. Several have noted that if it doesn't appear at first, just
wait. It soon will come flying past. (It's true.)
COLUMBIAN WHITE-TAILED DEER (doe), yellow ear tags dangling, crossing road near
Hunter's Gate, between Markers #4 and 5- one of those transplanted from Julia
Butler Hansen refuge downriver.
