Two (potentially more, I swear I counted three today in my binocs at the
same time) Black Phoebes have been present for about a week at the St.
Helens Wastewater Treatment Plan.
A friend of my mother's who lives in Deer Island (about 8 miles N of St.
Helens) showed me some photos of Yellow-headed Blackbirds he has been
seeing regularly at his feeders. I was there for about 30 min and did not
see them before I have to leave for work. But the photos are clearly YHBB.
I will continue to check the area out, though it's pretty much all private
property.
