I enjoy listing, I like my OR year list or various county year and life
lists, those are fun parts of birding
I am limited somewhat from walking but I still pursue those lists more from
a car these days and today I saw 3 new Oregon Year Birds, RN PHEASANT,
TURKEY, and TURKEY VULTURE. That's weird in a couple of different ways
I have mixed feelings about counting game birds on our wild bird lists but
I do anyway. Turkey Vulture as a sign of spring is always weird with Tree
Swallow and Rufous Hummer and Skunk Cabbage right beside it
