Kate and I were walking Bayocean Spit today. A Palm Warbler was working the
Sitka Spruces at the south jetty of Tillamook Bay today. This was near
45.564302, -123.946924. On the bay side was a female Barrow's Goldeneye and 5
Black Oystercatchers. The ocean side hosted large numbers of Sanderlings, with
20+ Dunlin, 20 Least Sandpipers and 2 Semipalmated Sandpipers mixed in.
A Red-shouldered Hawk was perched on the wire along 101 near Idaville Rd.
