We visited Baskett Slough NWR this morning. Main points of interest at narrows
area were a BN Stilt and Cinnamon Teal. The butte area had many crowing
Ring-necked Pheasants & singing Western Meadowlarks. On the north side of the
butte where the trail turns back we had Western Wood Peewee, OC Warbler,
Wilson's Warbler, Warbling Vireo, and a pair of BULLOCK'S ORIOLES for FOY. At
the nearby Left Coast Winery at noon we saw many WESTERN TANAGERS flycatching
(also FOY for us) , Acorn Woodpeckers, and at least one Bullock's Oriole.
