Last night as I sat outside the house taking photos of the lunar eclipse
whenever the clouds cleared enough to do that, I was serenaded nearly non-stop
by a Barred Owl. So that is probably why our resident Barn Owls have been and
are being so secretive this fall/winter. Our livestock guardian dog barked at
every Who Cooks for You so it was rather a noisy night. I hope the Barn Owls
were able to get out and hunt somewhere safely.
