Two parties went out to Dorsey Lane, south of Dayton last evening to view
the BARN SWWALLOW roost. The evening was a bit more windy and cool than the
previous evening. We saw fewer swallows (5,000) and they went down into the
cornfield sooner, approximately 7:40 PM.
Nothing had changed as far as the amount of corn still standing, i.e. no
harvest had happened.
