We had an exciting visitor around 5 pm tonight! A Bald Eagle paid us a
visit in our pasture. There is a dead skunk in the pasture and the eagle
came to check it out. It flew to a nearby tree also in the pasture and
posed for pictures for over an hour. Do you think 50 pictures is enough?
Then a Turkey Vulture came to check out the skunk. The vulture had an
injured left leg, was limping and treating it gingerly. I could not see an
injury and he seemed fine otherwise. Two more Turkey Vultures started to
circle the area. For over an hour Bob and I were treated to quite exciting
views of two great birds.
