A few minutes after 9am this morning, a pair. In the NW quadrant of my
skyview, vicinity of entrance to Oregon City Golf Course off Beavercreek Rd,
200-300ft hi with reference to nearby tall firs. Approaching briefly, then
turning back and out of view. Silhouetted against cloudy sky, 10X. These were
right on the phenology money with reference to Tim R's 08 May comments.
Late in the afternoon yesterday, there were possibly as many as 5 Vaux's Swifts
circling the tops of our tall weepy birches. I have seen 2-3 daily since 03
May.
