Well I got several offline comments. One suggested a raccoon which I
thought made sense because, with very agile hands, it would be able to
manipulate the
Offal to carefully remove it intact from the body. Another comment was that
their appearance together was merely coincidental and were made by two
different animals. I'd thought of that myself but it seems an awfully large
coincidence. Finally Wayne suggested some ways to improve the photography
to make it easier to identify. So based on his suggestions I went back to
take better photographs but lo and behold both items were gone. Perhaps
removed by a less fastidious animal the following night. Bob O'Brien Carver
